Kingmakers have installed new Akinrun of Ikinrun.
THE NATION REPORTERS reports that the Kingmakers in Ikirun, has installed Prince Yinusa Olalekan Akadiri as the new Akinrun of Ikirun.
His installation was followed by the announcement of the appointment of Prince Akadiri as the new Akinrun.
Meanwhile, in a release by the Kingmakers which was obtained by our correspondent urged people of Ikirun to maintaining peace and calmness as the traditional Process of the installation begins.
According to the release, “Following The announcement From the state government of Osun yesterday, The New Akinrun Of Ikirun has Been installed in the presence of Ikirun kingmakers led by Odofin Ariwajoye Baba AbdulRasheed Diekola Ariwajoye, The Odofin Ariwajoye Of Ikirun Land”.
“However, we urge the people of Ikirun to maintaining Peace and calmness. We also enjoin the elders From Ikirun to Swift into actionsl, to settle the ongoing crisis as regards the process.
