Osun Amotekun Boss has resigned.
THE NATION REPORTERS reports that the field commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps, Comrade Amitolu Shittu has resigned.
This was revealed in a statement he posted on his verified Facebook page on Friday.
He said, “Still relevant taken from the immortal word of the late sage Obafemi Awolowo when he resigned from the General Yakubu Gowon Administration he said “if we are related we shall meet again”
“I thank the people of Osun, I thank my friends, my wife, my family. I thank the entire Corps members importantly I will forever be grateful to Governor Gboyega Oyetola for the confidence repose in me to contribute my own quota to the development of Osun State.
“I am stepping aside from Amotekun for good, thank you all.”.
