Again, Curfew Declared In Osun
In furtherance of the coronation rites for His Imperial Majesty, Owa Clement Adesuyi Hastruph, the Palace of Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, has declared another curfew across the town.
The curfew, which took effect from 8:00 pm on Friday, April 11, 2025, will last until 6:00 am on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
According to a statement released by High Chief Olalekan Folorunso, the curfew is aimed at allowing the traditional rites to continue without disturbance.
Dtruth Insights reports that this is not the first time such curfew is being placed since the start of the coronation process.
The Palace of the Owa Obokun had earlier declared curfew which took effect from 9:30 pm on Monday, 24th March 2025, and last until 6:00 am on Tuesday, 25th March 2025.
