A frontline aspirant for the Osun State House of Assembly seat in Ifelodun Local Government, Prince Kabir Olayemi Abioye Eniafe, has felicitated His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdul Waheed Babatunde Adekunle, FCA (Ayunawa IV), the Elende of Eko Ende, on the occasion of his first coronation anniversary.

Prince Abioye, who spoke on behalf of the Ireotun Progressive Coalition, described the royal milestone as a moment of great pride, not only for the people of Eko Ende but for the entire Ifelodun constituency and Osun State at large.

He extolled the monarch’s leadership style, which he said has brought a renewed sense of unity, development, and cultural renaissance to the ancient town.

“Within just a year on the throne, Kabiyesi Ayunawa IV has proven to be a beacon of peace, wisdom, and progressive leadership. His reign has rekindled the values of heritage and positioned Eko Ende on the map of relevance in both political and developmental discourse across the state,” the prince noted.

Prince Abioye, a proud son of the soil, praised the monarch for drawing the throne closer to the grassroots and for making traditional leadership a source of hope and inspiration for the younger generation.
He added that Oba Abdul Waheed Adekunle’s ascension has not only unified the people but has also reinvigorated the town’s cultural identity while fostering a new era of socio-political engagement.

“As one who aspires to represent the good people of Ifelodun in the Osun State House of Assembly, I draw great strength and inspiration from the exemplary leadership style of our Kabiyesi. His unwavering commitment to truth, justice, and community development is a mirror for those of us in public service to emulate,” he said.

The Ireotun Progressive Coalition, he reaffirmed, remains unwavering in its support for the vision of the Elende in building a greater Eko Ende and a more united Ifelodun.

Prince Kabir concluded his royal tribute by praying for Almighty Allah (SWT) to continue to bless the monarch’s reign with wisdom, good health, and long life.

He added, “Congratulations once again to our symbol of heritage, the custodian of our values, and the shining light of Eko Ende—Oba Abdul Waheed Babatunde Adekunle, Ayunawa IV.”

Eko Ende, an historic town with deep cultural roots, has in recent times witnessed a revival in local participation and traditional governance under the leadership of Oba Ayunawa IV, who ascended the throne a year ago to much public acclaim.
