[BREAKING] Senatorial PDP Ticket: Dino Maleye Reacts To His Loss

• Dino Maleye has reacted to his loss of senatorial PDP Ticket.

THE NATION REPORTERS reports that Senator Dino Maleye has reacted to his loss to secure the People’s Democratic Party senatorial ticket in Kogi state.

Dino failed to secure the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ticket when he polled 99 votes against TJ Yusuf who is currently representing Kabba/Bunu Ijumu Federal constituency, who polled 163 votes.

TJ Yusuf, a three terms House of Representatives member had levelled with Dino on Monday night when they both scored 88 votes apiece; leading to a rerun.

But at the rerun on Tuesday, TJ was able to secure a majority of the votes.

While reacting to the development on Tuesday evening via his Twitter handle, he congratulated Hon. Yusuf and thank his supporters.

He said: “The Primary has been fought and won. I congratulate Hon. T.J YUSUF and thank all those who voted in the first and second ballot for me. The Gang up is unimaginable but l give God praise. God bless you all. SDM.”
