• Ooni’s palace has reacted to viral audio asking residents and travellers not to walk at night.

THE NATION REPORTERS reports that the palace of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwunsi has reacted to viral audio asking residents, travellers and others not to walk around Ile Ife and its environs at night by 9pm and beyond.

This online medium reports that the viral audio which has caused panic in some parts of the ancient city was released in today ‘s afternoon.

The voice in the audio which is unknown to everyone stating in its one minutes and fifteen seconds that: “Anyone we caught in Ile Ife and its environs after 9pm, will face serious trouble without being forgiven. Everyone should tell his or children and those on travel. We don’t want trouble in Ile Ife.”

However, in a phone interview with The Nation Reporters, the spokesman to Ooni, Com. Moses Olafare said Ooni didn’t know anything about the viral audio.

He said: “Ooni didn’t know about it. We don’t know those that made such audio.’
