Residents have stormed palace to give Ooni surprise birthday.
THE NATION REPORTERS reports that while the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, is still basking in the euphoria of his grand-style wedding party to his new wife, Mariam, some residents decided to give him a surprise birthday.
Our correspondent reports that the traditional Yoruba monarch celebrates his 48 birthday today, October 17, 2022
A video shared online captured the moment when Ile-Ife residents stormed the palace as they joined the traditional monarch in celebrating his new age.
The Ooni, who was left in awe, was also spotted beaming with excitement as firework displays went up in the sky.
