Plateau: Gov. Lalong is insensitive to Rukuba People’s Flight – Alh. Rukuba
Alhaji Rukuba, has accused the state government under the regime of Barr. Simon Bako Lalong of being insensitive to the Rukuba Peoples plight.
Delivering his remarks during Kicè Rukuba Day in Jebbu BASSA,
Alh. Rukuba who was the Occasion’s FATHER of the DAY described the governor’s action as disrespectful to the community.
“it is sad that, the state Government have to neglect the us this way”
“Despite invitation sent to him by Rukuba People, Yet no apology nor Representation despite the Executive Chairman BASSA, and Hon. Commissioner from Rukuba’s presence who are his kinsmen, yet no message of representation”. Said Rukuba.
“As a matter of fact, his government has no any impact on our people.
If Bacè wants to discount themselves, I will not”.
According to him, “The community has kept quite for too long not demanding our rights and privileges, it’s time we just do that, now. We can not cheapen ourselves consistently and remain behind chicken feeds to claim patronage”.
“If you are a Governor, be a Governor for all. Lalong gave N10m on behalf of himself and N10m on behalf TINUBU Shettima to IRIGWE day, gave the IRIGWE youth Leader SSA, immediately and promised to do their Road.” Rukuba pointed.
Alhaji Rukuba Lambasted Rukuba representatives in Lalong Government for failing to draw his attention to what he described as “the systematic denigration, condescending and open disrespectful disposition to the people of Rukuba saying “They are on their own”.
He appreciated the Rukuba people for been respectful and responsible urging them to always give due respect to whom respect is due, but said, “A responsible Government should be fair to it’s people”.
