BREAKING: Bobrisky Granted Bail
Nigerian crossdresser and internet sensational, Idris Okuneye better known as Bobrisky has been granted bail.
The popular crossdresser has been granted bail by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, however, according to sources who spoke to Linda Ikeji’s Blog, the crossdresser is yet to meet his bail conditions.
The conditions attached to his bail are yet to be ascertained at the time of reporting.
The EFCC had invited the Bobrisky following a video report of spraying and flaunting wads of new Naira notes at the premiere of a movie, Ajakaju, produced by Eniola Ajao, a Nollywood actress and producer, at Film One Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos on March 24, 2024.
However, it was gathered that the acclaimed celebrity who had serially dressed like a woman to public functions and craved acceptance as a woman, was addressed as ‘He’ applicable to the male gender.
According to the Commission, investigation also revealed that he had also committed the alleged offence at some other event centres and parties at different times.
Part of the statement read, “Following the invitation by the Commission, he arrived at the Lagos Zonal Command of the EFCC in the morning of Wednesday, April 4, 2024 for interrogation and volunteered his statements.
“He will soon be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations”
