Electricity Tariff: See Full List Of Areas Enjoying 20-24 Hours Power Supply In Osun

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) had on Wednesday announced an increase of tariff for Band A electricity consumers, escalating the rate from N66 to N225 per kilowatt-hour (KW/h).

Osun Defender reports that Band A customers, who enjoy 20 to 24 hours of power supply daily, will face this substantial hike.

Investigation into the matter reveals that subscribers in Osun and some other states under the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company’s network, who fall into the Band A category, will be the primary ones affected by this new tariff plan, as detailed in NERC’s documents from February 2024.
