Shock As Two Students Found Dead Inside Room In Suspected Love Affairs

Residents of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) quarters in Bida, Bida Local Government Area, Niger State, were thrown into a state of panic on Sunday morning after they discovered two lifeless bodies of a male and female suspected to be lovers in a room.

Multiple sources confirmed to SaharaReporters that the deceased, a student named Akin and his girlfriend, Aisha, were found in Akin’s room.

A source and a local resident of the area said that the deaths might have been due to poisoning, given the foam observed at their mouths.

Both were students at the Federal Polytechnic  Bida, another source added.

However, it was also confirmed that police officers transported the bodies to the morgue earlier on Wednesday.

Efforts to obtain information from the school management prove abortive as no official statement from the school authorities or law enforcement regarding the incident was available as of press time.
