FUOYE SUG President Speaks Out Amid Allegations Of Embezzlement In Students Union
The Students Union President of Federal University of Oye (FUOYE), Comrade Ebo Timileyin Jonathan, PKA Ijoba, has finally reacted to the alleged embezzlement leveled against him.
Dtruth Insights recalls that Comr. Shawenlee, the SUG Social Director had accused the President of embezzlement and conversion of SUG vehicle to his personal car.
However, while speaking in an interview with Oye Online, Ijoba debunked allegations leveled against him.
He said, “Embezzlement, to me; it’s rationally impossible as far as FUOYE community and Union is concerned.
“The management will definitely hold you for any dime you try to hide under the finger backed with any money that is not approved to any office by the SUSC can’t come to such office, so where did Embezzlement wants to come in?”
SUG Social Director Apologies
Not long after the news of embezzlement rocked the campus, the SUG Social Director took to his social media handle to apologize to the president.
He wrote, “About the allegations against the SUG President @Ijoba, the allegation was as a result of we trying to reach him to give a solid explanation about a particular money but he wasn’t reachable and as for me I will never allow a dime of student money to be siphoned but as at yesterday he has come up with full explanation and there is no form of embezzlement as he is accountable for every dime that was allocated to him.
“So sorry my dear President and thanks for the leadership role, much love 🫶 ❤️.”
