Controversial crossdresser, Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, has been rushed to Falomo Police Hospital in Lagos after reportedly falling ill while in detention at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon.

Bobrisky, who had spent the night in a police cell, was taken to the hospital after complaining of severe breast pain.

A source told Vanguard that he was transported from the FCID to the hospital in an ambulance around 2:00 p.m., wearing a black gown and covering his face with a shawl.

Despite receiving medical attention, Bobrisky remains in detention as detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding his arrest.

The FCID is expected to obtain a remand order to extend his detention while the inquiry proceeds.

A formal statement from the FCID is expected to provide more details on the case later today.

NIS spokesperson, Kenneth Udo, confirmed the arrest, stating that Bobrisky was apprehended during routine border checks.
