Hon Awosunle Unveils Ife Youths Start-Up Competition To Empower Aspiring Entrepreneurs

The Former Labour Party House of Representative, Hon Olumide Awosunle, has unveiled Ife Youths Start-Up Competition(IYSC) to empower aspiring entrepreneurs people living in Ile-Ife.

Awosunle made this known during the Press Conference at the official unveiling of Ife Youths Start-Up Competition (IYSC).on Wednesday, at the Palace of Ooni of Ife.

He said that the population of Nigeria youths of under 30 years takes over 70% out of 200 million worldwide, lamented that though they brimmed with potentials, but faces a future significant obstacles.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mind’s Power Global Concept, explained that these youth faced the challenges of unemployment, underemployment, lack of relevant skills and limited access to entrepreneurial support.

According to him, these problems stifle not only the youth dreams but also affected the growth and development of Nigeria.

The CEO expressed further that youth empowerment should be prioritise than social initiative, assured that youth empowerment is a panacea to strategic investment in Nigeria’s future

He stated further that the competition tagged”If I Had a Million Naira”, has been his long life initiative dream designed to bridge the gap for Ife Youths.

The Former Labour Party House of Representative stressed that the the initiative would pave way for them to accessing opportunities, inspiration and support.

“For a skilled, motivated youth population will not only build the national global competitiveness but will rather foster the social and economic strength needed to thrive.

“With a strong foundation, we can harness this demographic dividends to propel national progress”. He stated.

Awosunle maintained that soonest IYSC will empower aspiring entrepreneurs with innovative ideas and will address economic and social challenges locally, nationally and globally.

The CEO emphasised that the competition will create an initiative platform for young visionaries to present solutions to job creation, local content development, social inclusion and technological advancement.

He said that the IYSC is not just a contest, but a call to action for young innovators to step forward and be part of Nigeria’s future.

According to him, the registration is open for young entrepreneurs living in Ile-Ife regardless of state of origin and they can apply on:”www.mindspowerglobalconcept.com.ng”.

The registration begins on Nov 13 till Dec 13, added that finalists will step forward as the winner, receiving not only funding, but dedicated mentorship to bring their vision to life.
