“We received a report that the bride had tainted the food served at the wedding reception, which led to the groom falling critically ill and the death of one guest. An investigation is underway, and we will leave no stone unturned to ensure justice is served,” DSP Adam stated.

The police spokesperson further disclosed that all other wedding guests who consumed the poisoned food have been discharged from the hospital, apart from the deceased, whose identity has not been disclosed.
