JUST IN: NYSC Extends Remobilisation Deadline

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has extended the deadline for remobilisation of corps members, giving affected individuals more time to complete their registration.
Initially set to close on 24th February 2025, the NYSC has now moved the deadline to 28th February 2025.
In a statement issued by the scheme, corps members who require remobilisation have been urged to take advantage of the extension and complete their registration within the stipulated time.
The NYSC emphasised that no further extensions would be granted, warning that failure to meet the new deadline could affect their service year.
The management also noted that this extension might cause delays in the commencement of fresh registration for new batches.
Prospective corps members were advised to stay updated on official announcements to avoid misinformation.
The remobilisation process is designed for corps members who absconded from service but are now willing to return and complete their national duty.
The NYSC has reiterated its commitment to ensuring that all corps members fulfil their obligations under the scheme’s guidelines.
