CBEX Crash: Woman Breaks Down In Tears After Losing $1,000 In Digital Trading Scheme

A Nigerian woman, identified as Bola, has been caught on camera in an emotional breakdown after losing $1,000 of her hard-earned money in the now-infamous CBEX digital trading scheme.
In a viral video that has since circulated widely on social media, Bola is seen at the CBEX office, visibly distressed and crying as she recounts the devastating loss.
According to Bola, she had invested her entire life savings in the platform, which promised high returns through digital asset trading.
“I invested 200 dollars, but I ended up collecting all my friends’ money, $1,000 in total,” she said, with tears streaming down her face.
Her voice quivered as she spoke, recounting the heartbreak of watching the funds vanish without a trace.
Bola, who had reportedly saved her money while working in Libya, expressed her deep regret and frustration with the platform, which she now believes to be nothing more than a fraudulent scheme.
The woman stood helplessly at the office entrance, hoping for some form of restitution, but with no clear resolution in sight.
OSYN DEFENDER reports that CBEX has come under severe scrutiny after it was revealed that user balances were wiped out when the platform suddenly crashed.
The collapse has sparked outrage among many Nigerians who have lost substantial sums of money.
Authorities have yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident, but the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has reiterated its warning against unregistered online trading platforms, urging Nigerians to be cautious when investing in digital assets.
