Community Awakens In Ikorodu As Abefsat Champions Health, Financial Literacy

The ancient town of Ikorodu came alive on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, as Abefsat Ventures Multistream staged a groundbreaking empowerment summit that drew thousands of participants from across Lagos and adjoining states.

The event, held in the heart of the division, provided a powerful platform for grassroots enlightenment on health consciousness and wealth creation—two pillars critical to sustainable community development.

Anchored by Mrs Ibrahim Tawakalitu, a decorated Silver Awardee and leading light within the Abefsat Multistream network, the summit successfully blended practical education with lived experience.

She represented the indomitable leaders behind the initiative—Mrs Toyin Samuel (affectionately known as Our Momma) and Mrs Oyeledun Banjoko (Abike Gold)—whose vision for economic self-sufficiency continues to resonate with the masses across South-West Nigeria.

Participants at the summit were taken through engaging sessions that explored the benefits of organic health products such as Jinja Herbal Extract and Iru Herbal Antiseptic Soap—both of which have become popular choices in traditional wellness circles.

The financial literacy arm of the programme, delivered with refreshing clarity, detailed the Abefsat Multistream model—an enterprise system credited with lifting hundreds into stable income through structured entrepreneurship.

The atmosphere was further enriched by the presence of notable personalities including Mrs Risikat Adeola Onabajo, pioneer principal of Rotary Vocational Training Centre; Alhaji F.M.B.Y. Makanjuola Bamidele, founder of Orisun Igbala Muslim Cooperative Union; and respected community figures such as Leader Seyi Ajiboye and Alhaja Serifat Gbagba.

Honourable Oke Bukunmi delivered a rousing keynote address, urging participants to embrace healthy living while tapping into viable economic platforms.
