Eid-el-Kabir: Prince Eniafe Greets Muslims, Urges Sacrificial Spirit In Nation Building

A leading aspirant for the Osun State House of Assembly seat in Ifelodun Local Government, Prince Kabir Olayemi Abioye Eniafe, has felicitated Muslims across Ifelodun, Osun State, and the entire country on the occasion of the 2025 Eid-el-Kabir celebration, calling for deeper sacrifice, unity, and commitment to the values of peace and justice.
In a statement personally signed by the grassroots politician on Friday, Prince Eniafe described Eid-el-Kabir as a powerful reminder of obedience to divine will, selflessness, and compassion for the less privileged, urging Nigerians not to lose sight of these values in the face of present national challenges.
“Beyond the festivities, Eid-el-Kabir speaks to us about faith, sacrifice, and responsibility,” the statement read. “It reminds us of Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering obedience and the need for all of us to emulate such devotion in the service of humanity and our nation.”
The Ifelodun-born prince commended the Muslim Ummah for their steadfastness and spiritual resilience, especially in the wake of economic hardship and growing social tension.
He stressed that Islam, as a religion of peace, remains a beacon of moral discipline and communal upliftment.
Prince Eniafe used the occasion to call for renewed hope and action in tackling local developmental concerns, including youth empowerment, access to quality education, agricultural rejuvenation, and healthcare improvement within Ifelodun and beyond.
“As a son of the soil, I understand our people’s yearnings. I remain committed to championing a purposeful legislative agenda that will reflect the collective dreams of our communities. Eid offers us an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to building a just and inclusive Osun,” he noted.
The House of Assembly hopeful also appealed to religious leaders and institutions to continue fostering harmony and moral reawakening, stressing that sustainable progress is only possible in a society bound by unity and mutual respect.
He prayed for peace across the country, particularly in troubled regions, and called on leaders at all levels to draw inspiration from the lessons of Eid to serve the people with fear of God and integrity.
Prince Eniafe equally extended his greetings to the traditional rulers, community leaders, youths, and women of Ifelodun, urging them to celebrate responsibly while reaching out to those in need with love and compassion.
“As we slaughter rams and share meals, let us also slaughter hatred, injustice, and indifference. Let this season strengthen our resolve to build a better Ifelodun and a more prosperous Osun State,” he added.
