Excitement As De Frances Group Of Schools Holds 2025 End-Of-Year Party In Ile-Ife

It was a day of joy, celebration and colour as De Frances Group of Schools, located in the Olonade area of Ile-Ife, Osun State, hosted its 2025 end-of-year party on Thursday, 31st July.

The event, held within the school premises, drew an enthusiastic crowd of parents, pupils, teachers, educationists, religious leaders and invited guests who gathered to mark a successful academic session with gratitude and merriment.

The ceremony commenced with an energetic praise and worship session, followed by renditions of the national and school anthems.

In his opening remarks, the school’s proprietor, Prince Abimbola Olalekan, expressed deep appreciation to parents for their unwavering support.

He noted that the event, which also featured a graduation ceremony was organised in partnership with his co-director to celebrate God’s faithfulness and the academic achievements of the students.

In his sermon, the spiritual father of the day, Pastor Omoniyi Samson, charged parents to embrace responsible parenting, stressing the need to raise children who would contribute meaningfully to the growth of society and the nation at large.

The well-curated programme kept guests entertained with a variety of performances including cultural dance, drama sketches, Yoruba adage recitations, memory verse presentations, career role-play by pupils, and a news-casting display.

A highlight of the day was the ceremonial march-out of graduating students, who moved many to tears with their emotional farewell song.

The outgoing senior boy also delivered a reflective speech, drawing applause from the audience.

The celebration reached its climax with a prize-giving segment, where outstanding students were honoured with awards, and emotional scenes unfolded as parents joyfully danced with their graduating children.
