Osun Gets New NSCDC Commandant
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed a new Commandant, Igbalawole Emmanuel Sotiyo, to head its Osun State Command.
The appointment was approved by the NSCDC Commandant General, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, and was formally announced in a statement on Thursday by Kehinde Adeleke, the Public Relations Officer of the Osun Command.
Sotiyo succeeds Commandant Adaralewa Michael, who has recently been promoted to the rank of Assistant Commandant General.
Adeleke added, “Commandant Sotiyo hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State; he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Master’s Degree in Public Administrations from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
“He has attended a remarkable array of courses both home and abroad, establishing him as an expert in security architecture and leadership.”
