NANS Southwest Unveils Weekly Nuggets To Empower Nigerian Students

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Southwest Zone, has launched a new initiative tagged “Weekly Nuggets” to inspire, equip, and empower Nigerian students across campuses.

The program, introduced through the Office of the Director of Campus Affairs II, Comrade Oyetunmbi Abiola Tayo (Bismart), is designed to provide students with practical insights and guidance on leadership, self-development, business and investment, technological growth, community development, nation-building, life coaching, and education.

According to the organizers, the Weekly Nuggets will serve as a platform to sharpen students’ vision, build capacity, and instill values that promote positive change within campuses and society at large.

“This initiative is not just a campaign but a designation to shape lives, nurture future leaders, and ignite transformation across our communities,” Comrade Oyetunmbi said while unveiling the project on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

He emphasized that Nigerian students remain the heartbeat of the nation’s future, adding that the Nuggets would provide them with tools to lead with purpose, create opportunities, and make a lasting impact.

The Weekly Nuggets series will be shared with students every week across campuses in the Southwest, with a vision to build a generation of purposeful, visionary, and impact-driven leaders.
