Osun 2026: Badejo Victor Gifts Food Items, Cash To APC Members, Activates Door-To-Door Campaign For AMBO
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Mr. Victor Badejo, on Saturday morning distributed food items and cash gifts to members of the party in Ile-Ife.
The event which held at his residence along Ife/Ondo expressway, played host to the State Chairman of the party, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, other chieftains of the party and members particularly those from Okerewe Ward III, Ife East Local Government.

In his welcome address, Mr. Badejo described the APC as a party positioned to emerge victoriously in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun State. He added that residents and indigenes of the state are looking up to the party for viable leadership.
“What we are doing here today is in the spirit of Eid el Fitr, after successfully fasting for 30 good days in the holy month of Ramadan by our Muslim brothers and sisters.
“Ramadan teaches giving, good neighborliness, nation building and community development. These virtues are what I want our people to imbibe as guiding principles as we prepare to vote in the forthcoming gubernatorial poll in August, 2026.
“As APC members, we must organize ourselves and show to electorates that we are worthy of their votes. My team and I have activated a door-to-door campaign programme through which we are going to educate our esteemed voters on why they should vote for the party.
“Luckily for us, Ambassador Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji and Engineer Benjamin Adereti who are flying our party’s flag as Governorship and Deputy Governorship candidates respectively, are men of impeccable character and unmatched records of excellence in public service.” Badejo Victor stated.
Earlier, the APC State Chairman, Sooko Lawal, appreciated Okerewe Ward III party members for upholding the party flag firmly even when it was tough.
Lawal said that God compensated the ward by given them illustrious members like Badejo, whom could have joined another party, urging them not to misuse the opportunity, but to rally round him for victory.
He charged them to ensure their support for Badejo and shun all forms of political violence that could have adverse effect on the party, particularly in Ife land.
“Badejo is a tool and I want you all to use him well, remain loyal to the party and work hard for its emergence in August. Let us be strong ambassadors of the party and its candidates in our respective domains.” Sooko Lawal admonished.
Food items including rice, beans, vegetable oil and others packaged in branded bags were handed with cash gifts to members at the end of the event, in the spirit of the annual Eid El Fitr celebration.
