Bayejoko Oluwasegun’s Death: TLF Mourns Veteran Member, Describes Him As Believer Of Justice
The general assembly of Today’s Leaders Forum (TLF) has mourned the death of a veteran member of the forum who died in the early hours of Monday, 30th May, 2022.
In a statement signed by the Convener of TLF, Mr. Mudashiru Hammed, described the deceased as a believer of justice, fairness and equity.
According to the statement, “The general assembly of Today’s Leaders Forum (TLF) is saddened, highly bereaved and cold-hearted by the sudden demise of one of us, Mr Bayejoko Oluwasegun Sunday (Experience) in the early hours of 30th of May 2022.
“Before his death, he was a strong part of the journey and vision of the forum. Contributed almost at every point of our critical engagement, lectures and intellectual discuss. He was a friend, a believer of justice, fairness and equity. He was a beloved one, who everyone hold so dearly and respectfully.
“Leader Experience views are always rooted from a perspective of logic, genuine concern and passion for growth and development of the emerging generations, the youths and aged. He had no doubt in his mind about the greatness of this country and her people attaining the manifested potentials and destiny.
“Mr Oluwasegun was a calm man, but a fierce comrade who never tolerated oppression, he devoted a meaningful fraction of his life to struggles of the oppressed. A gentleman with wise reservations and decorum, made strong, affirmative statements and positions on good governance, gender equity, abuse of power by the political elites, fairness for all, corruption, among others.
“He was a man whose every minute of his living count for good and all he believed in.
“We most passionately mourn his demise, which is extremely excruciating for us all his friends at Today’s Leaders Forum.
“As a respected partner in struggles, intellectual devotions and whose valuable expertise and EXPERIENCE has been very valuable in many of our causes, we are compelled to commit this period to his mourning. To this respect, Today’s Leaders Forum (TLF) has suspended all her official activities and programmes in his honour. The least we can do in his name.
“His departed soul is dearly cherished by us all, may God comfort his immediate family and we the extended ones. “
