FLASH: Wike Storms Scene Of Abuja Storey Building Collapse, Reveals Next Move
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Thursday morning, stormed the scene of a collapsed storey building in Abuja.
Recall that a two-storey building housing many business centres collapsed around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
Many people were reportedly trapped in the building located around Garki II Abuja, with about 37 evacuated this morning.
Arriving at the scene of the incident this morning, Wike insists structures without approval will go down.
The former governor of Rivers State reiterated his earlier verdict that buildings without proper approval within the nation’s capital would be pulled down.
“This is what we are saying: any building without approval will go down.
“We don’t hate anybody. All we are saying is the proper thing should be done,” Wike said.
