BREAKING: Sultan Of Sokoto Declares Wednesday As Eid-Ul-Fitr Day
Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, Sultan of Sokoto and President General, National Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA has declared Wednesday, April 10, as the first day of Eid Al Fitr, after the crescent Moon was not spotted on Monday evening.
This was contained in a statement on Monday by Prof. Sambo Janaidu, Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs, Sultanate Council Sokoto.
The statement reads: ”Assalamu Alaikum. The Sultanate Council Sokoto has declared Wednesday 10/4/2024 as the first day of Shawwal 1445 AH.
