Another Gov. Adeleke’s Aide Resigns
Senior Special Assistant to Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, from Ife East, Babatunde Adewoyin, popularly known as Tunde Baale, has resigned his appointment.

A letter of resignation dated January 16, 2026, and addressed to Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, confirmed Adewoyin’s decision to step down from his role in the state government.
In the letter, Adewoyin expressed gratitude to the governor for the opportunity to serve as a Special Assistant, appreciating the trust reposed in him during his time in office.
He formally informed the governor of his resignation and wished him well in his continued service to Osun State.
“I want to extend my gratitude and appreciation for the trust you granted me to serve in your administration as the Special Assistant to your government,” the letter partly read.
The resignation adds to the growing list of aides who have recently exited Governor Adeleke’s administration, though no specific reason was stated for Adewoyin’s decision.
