The Plateau State Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), alongside the entire State Executive Committee (EXCO) and the overwhelming majority of its members, has taken a firm and uncompromising stand of unity as the Party marches toward the National Convention scheduled for March 29–30.

In the course of preparations for this decisive gathering, all structures of the Party on the Plateau—elders, Board of Trustees (BoT) members, women leaders, and grassroots mobilizers—have closed ranks in an unprecedented show of solidarity. Through prayers, consultations, and strategic engagements, the Party has effectively buried all seeds of discord and repositioned itself for total victory.

Let it be clearly stated: the era of division is over. Those who once thrived on misinformation and internal distraction have now come to terms with reality. The call for reconciliation, now championed loudly across all levels—including by the Turaki—signals a new dawn of discipline, loyalty, and collective purpose. The message is unmistakable: fall in line or step aside.

The PDP remains the oldest, most formidable, and most people-driven political party in Nigeria. Plateau State stands as a bastion of that strength—resolute, unshaken, and ready to lead the charge in rebuilding and reclaiming the Party’s rightful place at the center of national politics.
