The Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC) has officially announced the winners of the Local Government election conducted across the state on Saturday.

The election, which was held amidst mixed reactions, saw candidates of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) declared winners in all 30 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).

Announcing the results in Osogbo, the Chairman of OSSIEC, Barrister Hashim Abioye, described the election as “free, fair, and credible,” stating that it was conducted in line with the provisions of the law.
