BREAKING: Aregbesola Drops Another Message On Oyetola’s Defeat
-
Aregbesola has dropped another message on Oyetola’s defeat.
THE NATION REPORTERS reports that the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has dropped another message on the just-concluded Osun State Governorship election.
This online medium recalls that a couple of minutes after the Independent National electoral Commission (INEC) declared the winner of the governorship election, the minister took to his verified Facebook page to post a message hinting that he was in support of the outcome of the exercise.
A devout Muslim, Aregbesola quoted Daniel 4:17 from the bible, “This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.”
Responding, he wrote, “Osun Le Tente”, which could be loosely interpreted as “Osun is victorious”.
Meanwhile, in few minutes after, he deleted the cryptic message on his Facebook page.
He, however, sent another message to make clarification on his initial post.
He said: “It has come to the attention of the media office of the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, that an unauthorized message was posted on his Verified Twitter and Facebook Pages at about 8:00am on Sunday 17th July, 2022.
“The unauthorized messages have now been deleted. Members of the public, especially the media, are advised to ignore!”
